<Poem>

<Translation>
When comes to Sichuan news of the recapture
Of Ji, my tears stream down, wetting my vesture.
Wherefore then, should my spouse have her tortures?
I roll up my scrolls of poetry with raptures!
Drinking hard while singing aloud is fair in broad day;
The verdure spring will with us go home all the way.
Gliding through Gorge Wu just as from Gorge Ba we'll start,
And then sail to Luoyang after from Xianyang we'll depart!
